Erik Klein

Erik is currently the engineering lead at Poynt, a company committed to providing small businesses with cutting edge open source mobile payment systems. Prior to this role, he was the co-founder of Endorse corporation and served as its chief technology officer before it was acquired by DropBox, where he managed the core IOS and Android team. Erik is also a co-founder of Sofa Labs and served as its chief technology officer. Erik worked at PayPal for more than six years and architected and developed the software used by its more than 3,000 customer service agents. He worked as an engineering manager at YouTube for four years. He has more than 17 years of experience coding for both corporate and startup companies. Erik holds a B.A. in mathematical computer science from the University of Illinois.
