Kindra is Vice President, East Africa for Technoserve, the international non-profit that helps grow strong markets that create income and jobs in poor communities. She led the expansion of Technoserve in East Africa. Kindra is an international development expert with 16 years of experience in the public and private sectors, including 8 years in economic and small business development. Kindra started her social entrepreneurship career by launching a $2 million investment fund with a double bottom line of financial return and social impact. She has worked as a consultant specializing in growth strategies in Africa for McKinsey & Company and was responsible, at Population Services International, for the development of an impact measurement system. Kindra holds an M.B.A. from Columbia University and a B.A. in International Relations from University of Minnesota.
