Steven Weir is a licensed architect with over 30 years of field experience. Mr. Weir spent 16 years in private practice, the majority of that time with a San Francisco-based firm working throughout the Pacific Rim in architecture and real estate development. Non-profit work has been primarily with Habitat for Humanity International in global leadership roles that include 13 years based in Asia Pacific. Steven has degrees in Architectural Engineering and Environmental Design. Mr. Weir has been published by Ethics in Action on the ethical challenges of international human rights NGOS, Cambridge University Press on housing issues, and UN HABITAT on housing policy, among others. In addition to serving on Cadasta’s Board, Steven is also on the board of Cities Alliance, Georgia Tech School of City and Regional Planning, Urban Catalyst Lab, and local churches in the US and Asia.
