Dear Cadasta Friends and Partners,

Dear Cadasta Friends and Partners,

We know that these are uncertain times for everyone around the world. As a member of the global community, we at Cadasta are actively taking steps to protect our staff and partners and mitigate the spread of COVID-19 by following the World Health Organization (WHO) and Center for Disease Control’s (CDC) guidelines.

As such, all Cadasta staff and trainers are working from home and following the appropriate practices. Cadsta is an international organization with staff working in 5 time zones. This has prepared us to work remotely and use technology to effectively engage with partners and each other to ensure our work has maximum impact.

At Cadasta, our mission is to advance land tenure security for the most vulnerable people. Our platform, tools, and training continue to be available to our partners. Our global team is ready and available to support our partners by providing technical assistance and training remotely during this time.

We know that secure land tenure and access to resources are fundamental to community health and resilience. That is why it is important, now more than ever, to support our partners and press forward on our mission to advance tenure security for vulnerable communities.

This is a rapidly changing situation, so we are committed to maintaining open lines of communication with our board, donors, and partners. We are in touch with our partners to discuss their project implementation and data collection efforts and how to prepare contingencies for the likelihood that they will need to suspend operations in the coming weeks and months.

We are all in this together so please do not hesitate to reach out to me or your Cadasta point of contact with updates, questions, or requests for support.

With warm regards,

Amy Coughenour Betancourt
