Cadasta Welcomes Three New Team Members

Cadasta is pleased to introduce three outstanding additions to our team. Cadasta is delighted to introduce fantastic additions to our team. Each member brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our mission of supporting the documentation of land and resource rights to build stronger, more sustainable communities.


We are excited to welcome Theodomir Mugiraneza, who joined Cadasta in September 2023 as a GIS Specialist. In his role, he develops and implements spatial databases and GIS software solutions. Theodomir is a passionate GIS and remote sensing scientist with over 16 years of experience. Before joining Cadasta, he served as a researcher and university lecturer. Theodomir holds a Ph.D. in Geoinformatics from KTH, Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden, a Master of Science in Geoinformation Science and Earth Observation, and a Bachelor of Science in Physical and Human Geography. He will provide invaluable Indigenous and local community mapping support to the Tenure Facility in Stockholm, Sweden.


Carolina Reynoso Pieters joins us as our Senior Director of Global Programs. With over 13 years of experience in international development, Carolina has worked extensively in sub-Saharan Africa on climate change adaptation, food systems, inclusive market systems, and land and resource rights. She holds an MS in Conflict Analysis and Resolution and a BA in International Affairs. Carolina’s impressive background includes program management for organizations such as USAID, USDA, The World Bank, and The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Her expertise will be instrumental in scaling Cadasta’s global programs.


Pano Skrivanos takes on the role of Senior Manager for Community Land and Climate at Cadasta. With nearly 20 years of experience supporting Indigenous communities in Canada and abroad, Pano’s expertise includes GIS and mapping technologies for land use planning, natural resource management, conservation, cultural research, and forest carbon initiatives. He holds a BSc in Geography, an advanced diploma in GIS, and an MSc in Forestry. Pano’s commitment to helping communities secure their land rights and adapt to climate change aligns perfectly with Cadasta’s mission.
