What We Offer

Land Administration Assessments

We evaluate national and subnational land administration and cadastral systems to identify gaps and opportunities. Our assessments provide actionable policy, legal, and technical recommendations that balance international standards and community priorities.

Government Advisory & Reform Support
yellow_line_2_large
We support government and multilateral institutions to design and implement people-centered land systems, including cost assessments, institutional design, policy development, and reform roadmaps.

In Malawi, Cadasta partnered with the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) on the Land Productivity Project as part of the groundwork for the MCA Malawi II Compact. Through this initiative, we analyzed the true cost of land administration services, explored how those costs could evolve under different policy pathways, and modeled potential revenue scenarios for the Ministry of Lands. Together, this work delivered practical, forward-looking insights—helping chart a more sustainable financial future for land administration in Malawi.

Advisory Services

In Togo, Cadasta supported the MCC-funded Land Reform to Accelerate Agricultural Productivity (LRAP) project by helping formalize land rights for smallholder farmers and piloting gender-inclusive tenure models. By simplifying documentation processes, this work made land rights more accessible—especially for women—while laying the foundation for more productive and equitable agricultural systems.

Technical Advisory & Digital Systems

We design and optimize digital systems for land governance—from mobile data collection to interoperable GIS platforms and Land Information Systems—ensuring tools are cost-effective, scalable, and user-friendly.

Capacity Building & Training

We strengthen institutions and leaders through tailored training, “train-the-trainer” models, and long-term mentoring, always centering equity, gender inclusion, and climate resilience.
