Theodomir joined Cadasta Foundation in September 2023 as a GIS Specialist. In his role, he develops and implements spatial databases and GIS software solutions. Theodomir is a passionate GIS and remote sensing scientist and practitioner with over 16 years of experience. Before joining Cadasta, Theodomir served as a researcher and university lecturer. His area of interest includes GIS, remote sensing, cartography, land administration, and environmental and spatial planning information analysis. As a GIS Specialist, Theodomir will provide Indigenous and local community mapping support to the Tenure Facility in Stockholm, Sweden. Theodomir holds a Ph.D. in Geoinformatics from KTH, Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden; a Master of Science in Geoinformation Science and Earth Observation with a specialization in Geoinformation Management for Land Administration from University of Twente, ITC Faculty, and a Bachelor of Science in Physical and Human Geography from the National University of Rwanda.
