New Additions to the Development Team

Kate Chapman, CTO

Cadasta keeps growing, and we couldn’t be happier. Two new additions to the software development team are joining us to help build out the platform as we approach our first version release. We’re honored to welcome Chandra Lash and Ian Ross to the team!

Chandra Lash, UI/UX Developer

A 15+ year veteran of technical design for exceptional user experience, Chandra is user-centric in everything she creates, from design concept to QA. As our UI/UX Developer, Chandra will ensure that Cadasta’s platform is focused on and friendly to the marginalized populations we seek to serve, as well as creating robust features. With her designer-developer background, she will bring a unique blend of intuitive artistry and rigorous coding to our team. We’re proud to have her on board.

Chandra lives in Chicago and is usually knee-deep in a home remodeling project or enjoying the outdoors with her family. Follow her on Twitter at @ClashCreative  and LinkedIn.

Ian Ross, Backend Developer

A software developer with a wide range of experience in various scientific, software, and academic sectors, Ian brings his knowledge and skillset to Cadasta as our Backend Developer. In this role, Ian will work to design, develop, and maintain the server & data side of the platform. With his background in climate & environmental modeling and data analysis, Ian is an excellent addition to our team.

Ian lives in Igls, Austria with his partner, Rita. When Ian isn’t spelunking, he’s out hiking-while-coding in the mountains with his dog, Winnie. Follow him on Twitter at @skybluetrades, LinkedIn, and his blog.
