Samuel is a Program Specialist and Land Surveyor with extensive experience supporting community land rights and participatory mapping across Central and West Africa. With over seven years of work in Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Benin, and other Congo Basin countries, he blends strong surveying expertise with effective project coordination and partner management. Samuel brings his land surveying background into every stage of his work, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and structure in data collection and land documentation. He has led several multi-stakeholder mapping initiatives, coordinated diverse partners, and overseen complex geospatial workflows that strengthen community land governance. Driven by a deep commitment to tenure security for marginalized communities across Africa, Samuel focuses on practical, community-centered approaches that help secure land rights and improve local resilience. He holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Land Surveying Engineering and certifications in Monitoring & Evaluation (MEAL) and Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT).
