Cadasta Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Elisa Savva as a new Director of the Board.
Elisa comes to the Cadasta Board with over 19 years of experience in international finance and accounting. Elisa is a partner at the international tax and consulting firm RSM where she leads their International Non-Governmental Organizations Practice. In this role, Elisa specializes in clients with international activities and USAID- and State Department-funded organizations, as well as European Government-funded organizations, private foundations, and other multilateral institutions such as the World Bank and United Nations. She is based in the Washington, D.C. area.
“We are pleased to welcome Elisa Savva as the newest member of the Cadasta Board,” said Liz Blake, Cadasta Board Chair, “Her finance and accounting experience with a broad range of international organizations will help ensure Cadasta grows responsibly for years to come.”
Commenting on Elisa’s appointment, Cadasta Chief Executive Officer Amy Coughenour Betancourt said, “I have known Elisa for years and she is well respected for her competence and commitment to the international development space. Her expertise will be invaluable to Cadasta as we scale our work and impact.”
Elisa joins seven elected Board members and one observer. Together they provide strategic and policy direction to Cadasta as it works to advance global land and resource rights to build stronger, more sustainable communities.
