Cadasta’s Katie Pickett Featured in Geospatial World’s List of 50 Rising Stars

Cadasta is thrilled to announce that Program Manager Katie Pickett has been selected and featured on Geospatial World’s list of 50 Rising Stars. Developed by Geospatial Media and Communications, the Geospatial World 50 Rising Stars initiative highlights the work and accomplishments of young leaders and individuals in the geospatial technology field. 

Selected from a list of over 250 impressive nominations from within the geospatial community, Katie is listed among the top 50 rising star candidates from 6 continents and 24 countries. With a graduate degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and an undergraduate degree in International Studies, Africana Studies, Katie has provided expert geospatial solutions for international non-governmental organizations (INGOs), governmental agencies, and social-change enterprise companies in Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and North America. As Program Manager at Cadasta, Katie has trained and worked with partners from around the world to document and map land and resource rights.
