Ricardo is a geographer who specializes in social science, urban studies, and territorial development, with expertise in the application of geospatial tools. He has nearly a decade of experience working on projects focused on territorial and urban planning, land tenure, and environmental and disaster risk management. Ricardo has worked on projects that required the application of geospatial analysis tools in the Amazon Rainforest, the Coastal Region, and the Highlands of Ecuador.
As the new GIS Program Specialist at Cadasta, he will be responsible for various activities related to supporting the identification and onboarding of new partners, technical GIS training, and other related activities. Mainly, he will be focusing on Cadasta’s Land for Climate and Forest Rights initiative in Latin America.
