Cadasta Foundation is pleased to announce grant support from the David Weekley Family Foundation. DWFF’s funding and partnership will support Cadasta’s organizational mission to advance land, resource, and property rights for the one billion people living in vulnerable communities left out of formal land systems. With our unique land, technology, and development expertise, DWFF’s funding will enable us to better support local partners to implement and scale their work, making land, resource, and property rights more equitable, accessible, and transparent for all.
Commenting on DWFF’s partnership with Cadasta Robin Bruce, President, said, “Solving the world’s most pressing problems requires bold and imaginative approaches, and we’re excited to be a part of the thoughtful and important offering Cadasta is bringing to the land rights sector.”
“We are excited about establishing a collaborative partnership with the David Weekley Family Foundation as a new Cadasta donor,” said Cadasta CEO Amy Coughenour Betancourt, “Not only is the foundation is committed to the role that land and property rights play in a healthy, prosperous society, but also to raising visibility around this important development issue, particularly in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.”
