Cadasta Welcomes John Torres as Senior Director of Communications

WASHINGTON, D.C., September 9, 2024 — Cadasta Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of John E. Torres III as the new Senior Director of Communications. In his role, John will lead the organization’s strategic communications efforts, ensuring that Cadasta’s mission and impact are effectively communicated to a global audience. 

John brings over two decades of experience in international strategic communications, marketing, and public relations. He has a proven track record of enhancing brand visibility, increasing stakeholder engagement, and driving impactful communication initiatives.

Before joining Cadasta, John served as Director of Communications at Land O’Lakes Venture37, where he led global communications efforts, including branding, social media, advocacy, and event management. He also served as Vice President of Communication and Public Relations at the National Cooperative Business Association CLUSA International (NCBA CLUSA), where he was instrumental in aligning organizational practices with mission objectives and enhancing the association’s strategic agility.
