Cadasta is thrilled to be participating in the 2019 Interaction Forum. As the largest alliance of international NGOs and partners in the United States, Interaction mobilizes 180-plus members to think and act collectively to serve the world’s poor and vulnerable, with a shared belief that we can make the world a more peaceful, just and prosperous place–together.
As a member of Interaction, since 2018, Cadasta stands with the collective pursuit to eliminate extreme poverty, strengthen human rights and citizen participation, and ensure dignity for all by making it easier for communities to document and strengthen their land and resource rights. As part of our commitment to InterAction, our CEO Amy Coughenour Betancourt serves as a member of Interaction’s Board of Directors.
The 2019 Interaction Forum will feature the world’s most influential and inspiring organizations, change makers, and executives from the NGO, public, and private sectors. Cadasta looks forward to attending the forum’s events and participating in the exhibit. Stop by our table in the exhibit area and meet Cadasta’s staff who can answer questions and provide live demonstrations of how our mapping tools and platform can document and secure land rights for the world’s most vulnerable populations around the world. We work with a broad range of NGO partners working with smallholder farmers, women, and vulnerable communities in agriculture, food security, urban settlements, women’s land rights, indigenous communities, and a range of settings where land can make a difference for the sustainability of people’s livelihoods and communities.
